Thought of the day

sDo you ever find yourself thinking, “I’m not sure how to do it, and I’m afraid I will get it wrong and waste my time,” so you end up in indecisive mode? ⁣

That’s one of the most challenging places to get out of because you end up in a vicious cycle of doing nothing.⁣

I know one of the things you want most is to sell your art. Instead of going into an indecisive mode, I want to help you build up your resilience and try anyway. Small actions are how you learn to get better and better results. Anything is better than nothing!⁣

Let’s brainstorm ways that the next time this happens to you, you can take action more easily.⁣

I’ll start…⁣
✨ Idea no. 1: Take the first step, and get it wrong on purpose.⁣
This turns it into a game – much like putting the big ugly mark on canvas just so it’s not pristine and white anymore – you’ve started, and now you have to fix it! ⁣

Plus, when it’s obviously wrong, your inner-knowing will say, “you should fix it by doing XYZ,” and all of a sudden, you have more answers than you thought you did.⁣

Ok, your turn! Name one way you will start taking action even when you aren’t sure how to do it. By writing it down, you’ll already have claimed your next step when you get stuck, and you’ll help out your fellow artists!
